If you’re a Spring bride, you’re certainly in the right place as today we’re talking all about bridal make-up for this wonderful season. We’re saying goodbye to the matte look that was super popular in Winter and instead, we’re saying hello to a make-up look that is soft, romantic and ever so slightly ethereal. So, if you’re in need of some wedding make-up inspiration it’s time to get reading!

This season is all about renewal, rejuvenation and revival, so you want to make sure that your skin reflects that. We always recommend starting a strict skin routine at least six months before the big day so you have healthy, clear skin on your big day. However, there are lots of ways to achieve that all-important glow with just a few make-up tips.

Highlighter is an absolute must-have and it’s an effortlessly easy way to achieve glowing, dewy skin that will turn heads as you walk down the aisle. A few sweeps of highlighter along your cheek bones, brow bone, cupids bow and down the length of your nose can transform your bridal look.

If you want to go all out with your glow, we suggest swapping powder-based products for creams. Not only are they extremely easy to blend together, they’ll offer a natural sheen to your face that will look oh-so-gorgeous.

When it comes to colour choices, we’re smitten with the thought of a statement pink lip for a Spring wedding. Not only does it fit with the season perfectly, it’ll add a subtle hint of colour to your wedding day look. You can choose from a palette of pretty pinks for a natural, barely-there bridal look that is still seriously pretty. Whether you adore the thought of dusty rose pink to fuchsia pink, there are so many gorgeous shades to choose from. Our top tip is to use flesh tone eyeliner along your waterline to create a wide-eyed, awake look.

Spring is a really beautiful time of year to say, ‘I Do’ and it lends itself to lots of wonderful make-up looks. If you’re looking for a bridal make-up artist for your big day, we’d love to hear from you! You can get in touch right here.
